The introduction of new casino boat isn’t the first time that the island has offered gambling cruises, and in the past they’ve brought a slew of issues. The 78-foot Tropical Breeze casino cruise launched in November 2011, with 80 Vegas-style slot machines from as little as a nickel per bet to as much as $5 (there no penny slots), and is also fitted with video poker. Two full liquor bars are also available for guests as well as dining on the sundeck with a menu selection consisting of burgers, chicken sandwiches, wraps, and burritos. The sundeck is a perfect option if your cruise mates are still gambling, but you need a break from the action, or if you just want to catch the sunset from the water.

The $35 flat fee includes a five-hour cruise, $10 match play, $5 food coupon, and taxes ‒ a reasonable rate considering a night out on Duval will easily cost twice that.
